The problem with JABIA was, that the devs didn't really care. If you don't give anything about the originals, characters and "story" shouldn't matter anyway. The content and environment of the game and the progression of your mercs is kept very simple in JAF yet, even compared to JABIA. You can't pause the game during combat whenever you want and sadly it lacks some of the tactical options rooftops or even several floors or explosives gave JABIA. Well, JAF doesn't have the plan&go-system like JABIA has, so it's turn-based like the "originals". I also enjoyed JABIA in it's own way, after i got over the disappointment back then after it's release. Or is it more like Jagged Alliance: Online than those two games?
